Film Rescue International - Old Film Developing

So this is a super exciting development because today I stumbled upon Film Rescue International, a company that specializes in developing old film (both still and movie film). They specifically have a still film developing guarantee, which states that, “We Develop All Old Still Films — No Exceptions.” This makes me excited.

To test out how serious this guarantee is, I just sent in an email asking if they would be able to develop my rolls of Kodachrome from 1959 which are K-11 process. Considering K-11 was replaced by several other developing processes that are also obsolete, I am anxious to see what they answer. Their clients include The Smithsonian Institution, so I am definitely hopeful. If anyone has some old or obsolete-format film, be sure to check this site out.

Very cool service, especially for those who might raid their grandparents’ attics and closets for this sort of thing.
